High Tech Treatments:

Hyperthermia Therapy for Lyme Borreliosis and cancer

Based on clinical experience of patients being treated for cancer with Hyperthermia treatment, it is believed that Borrelia bacteria may be also be killed off too. Patients who have had cancer and Borreliosis have reported that after their hyperthermia relate to for cancer, their Lyme symptoms are not as prevalent.
Local Hyperthermia treatment: Used mainly for localised cancer tumours. Infra red radio waves can increase the temperature of the tumour to around 42 degrees C. Clinical evidence shows this treatment has been found to work significantly better with the use of intravenous (IV) vitamin C directly after the treatment, as the cancerous tissue has been disturbed and fragile. Vitamin C as a powerful antioxidant in lower dosages and in high doses has an ‘oxidant’ effect which will be able to penetrate this weakened tissue and suffocate the tumour cells. Other supportive IV treatments are using IV glutathione and IV turmeric.

Whole Body Hyperthermia (WBH): Used for Borreliosis (Lyme) patients.
This is a different kind of Hyperthermia where the whole body is inserted into a capsule and heating slowly to around 39.8 degree C. This is a very specialised treatment that must be used by experienced medical doctors who will be able to monitor the patients vital signs, of temperature, pulse rate, heart rate and blood pressure. Some clinics offer aesthetic and increase the treatment to a higher temperature but there may be side effects.
The idea is to kill off the Borrelia bacteria. Again clinicians have found supportive IV infusions of vitamin C while in the treatment have beneficial outcomes.

This informtion is based on my experience of visiting Medical clinics offering these treatments and speaking to the medical practitioners, together with my understanding of these treatments My research will be ongoing via continued communication with experienced practitioners and seeing my patients results together with keeping up to date with the latest medical studies.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber

(Based on my experience of visiting Medical clinics offering these treatments and speaking to the medical practitioners).

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
This chamber provides 100% oxygen for patients in 20-40 minutes sessions.
The aims of treatment are to provide oxygen to the plasma (oxygenation) via absorption through the skin. Studies show this therapy to increase wound healing by the promoting the growth of new blood vessels and capillaries and reduces inflammation, (all important for optimal Chronic Lyme disease healing).
The pressure of the chambers are usually 1.3 atmosphere but some chambers can go up to 4.
In treating cancer the purpose is to suffocate the cancerous cells and slow the growth of the cancer.
According to literature HBOT can be used to treat over 14 diseases including chronic Lyme disease, chronic fatigue, Fibromyalgia and Alzheimer’s.
This sounds very promising for my patients so I am curious to learn more about HBOT and see how I can implement it into their comprehensive treatment programs as adjunctive therapy.
