Project Description
Lady’s Mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris)
Another herb commonly found growing wild in Iceland and Norway.
I have found two types, the common and the Alpine Lady’s mantle (Alchemilla alpine).
Arial parts are used as an anti-inflammatory herbal medicine and as an astringent and to stop bleeding in heavy menstrual cycles.
Traditionally used for endometriosis and menopausal symptoms.
Other uses are to diarrhea and good for gastrointestinal infections.
