Millet Porridge

Ingredients

  • 2 cups millet organic, washed and soaked overnight
  • 1 tsp nutmeg or grated nutmeg pods
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 peeled and chopped apple organic
  • 1/2 cup sultanas or dried fruit organic

Instructions

  1. Add all of the above ingredients in a pan with 3 cups water. 

    Cook using the absorption method. (Heat until boiling, then reduce heat and simmer slowly for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn the heat off and leave the lid on for another 5 minutes, until ready to serve).

    Can serve with rice or almond milk.
