Project Description

Lavandula officinalis

Another common French herb which is growing in many gardens and parks here in France.

I used to think of this herb as an ‘old lady’s herb’ and now I just love it, so I must be getting older.

We use it in our clinic for patients having trouble with sleep and depression.

It also has anxiolytic actions so helpful for easing anxiety and excitability.

Other properties of this herb are carminative and spasmolytic so beneficial for colic, flatulence and for headaches.
